Hi all

Thanks for the interest in Tubester. As (ill) luck would have it the installer (pre 20:40 GMT) contained the wrong DLL file. This has now been corrected and the rogue responsible dealt with.

FYI we tested with Tracktion,AudioMulch,Cubase,CM Musys,FK Studio 4 and 5.

Please give it another shot and do not hesitate to let us know if you have any problems.

Best wishes

EDIT

it works now.

nice 'farty' lead sound. I can see some mileage for this. It has a character of it's own, but it's a one trick pony. At least it does the trick quite well.

A bug, it doesn't seem to work on other sample rates than 44.1khz. It sounds different on any other samplerate. I suspect that the filter coefficients are always calculated for 44.1khz.

Howdy.

Unfortunately, the file it installs (downloaded at 4:00 EST) is precisely the same file as I downloaded this morning.
Wait... loot _then_ burn? D'oh!

Well, it's working fine here in energyXT.

I downloaded the .EXE file, installed it where it proposed to be, copied the .DLL in my VST directory, then uninstalled.

Nice sim by the way. I just tested it using a clean guitar sampled track, but I'll give it a closer 'live' look tomorrow.

Many thanks for such a present. :D

More definition at high gain settings than simulanalog.

Not very subtle, but who cares :D

Cool plugin.

Please check the installed VST DLL file. It should be called tubester1.dll with a size of 488Kb and a product version number of 1010 (select the file, right click and then select properties >> version >> product version to see this.

WOOOOOAAAAAA ! :o :-o

Couldn't wait to test it, so I've built a quick basic guitar live setup in eXT.

Plugged in my old gain thirsty Jackson, turned the active preamp button to boost the humbucker, turned the gain button of my Edirol audio interface, raised the pick... And...

Geeeeez, this baby kicks a few asses ! :D
Very nice work guys, your plug is great.

I like this, but will there be a Mac version? Since I have a PC and and iBook now, I'm looking for good plugs that are cross platform to make my new arsenal, so I can switch them between computers. If not, I'll still use it on PC, but I hope there can be a Mac version. Thanks for the great plug!

Very nice plugin indeed. Maybe a little bit of tricky. I also got some good cleaner overdriven sounds with distortion settings like 6 % depending on source material. I think it also responses well to the dynamics of playing (more dirt when you play harder).

The installer still refuses to install on my pc running ME. Any chance of a dll-only download?

OK, I'm interested, where is the download URL?
