Actually, it comes with both Intakt and Kompakt players. http://www.soundsonline.com/sophtml/det ... sku=EW-162lavoll wrote:stormdrum, is that the one with the INTAKT player?

I played a little with the Stormdrum and Stormbreakz demo on the East West Free Trial CD.
I noticed that none of the Intakt loops were actually setup to track to the tempo of the song. While I seemed to be able to make it track by clicking on some buttons, I'm curious - is the default for all the Intakt loops to not track the song tempo?

edit: the more I listen, the more I am humbled. You've got a gold record on your site, I hope you know that.

Shane - thanks a bunch. I don't get a lot of visitors.
Cypress - I have gone through all the PODs. POD 2.0>PODxt>PODxt Pro (not all at once, but I have owned these - now I have a PODxt Pro)
The guitars on "She Scares Me" and "Missionary" are through real amps, done back around 1998. I can't remember now.

Fizbin, you're work is very well done! I'm sorry you don't get more traffic, you deserve it far more than a lot of the pop stuff today. Thanks for the stormdrum demo, it does sound very realistic.

HMM! SD is great for the TAIKO DRUMS! MY FAVORITE but the drums are mmmmmh!
The Intakt!? no need for it! NI claims to be the best with time streaching but they all sound under water to me when you slowdown. NASTY! Done with that!
Cons on the Drums: no Side Sitick! WHAT THE HECK? thats what I said when I got it! Where is the Side Stick!? But the Taiko Drums cheers me up every time I hear the drum sets.. haha
Some are great but the SStick is a MUST.... NI! What the HECK? hehehe!
INTAKT: Collecting dust
TAIKO DRUMS to the "rescate"! That's the only reason I got SD heheheh!

Armadillo! how are you?Armadillo wrote:GIRO: East West says "what happens when you give Godzilla some drumsticks?".....he's not likely to play a soft sidestick hit is he
If they said that for real, then I guess I was right!
That's a LAME excuse! YET THEY HAVE EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR I PAYED FOR IT. Not a penny less.
I know what happend! And just like BFD, they had problems with the Side Stick too! Not all Snare Sample came with it! FXpansion said to copy the SStick to all the Snare folders! heheheh! WOW!!!
Anyways! They are "great drum libraries" but they don't work for me! I just got SD for the Taiko Drums, BFD was a mistake and DFH2 was a disaster(it never worked on my System). More Like Drums From Satan ! I reported a bunch of mapping errors!
NOW DFH2 has a GUI with new name! LMAO EZ Drummer! Same thing, new marketing "give us your money" move! hehehe
