Sampletank 2 XL & AmpliTube

I just noticed something on eSoundz that I need to know if I misunderstood.
Is it true that if I crossgrade my SS2 to Sampletank 2XL I get the full version of amplitube thrown in? I was pretty set on crossgrading anyway, but not for a few months. How long will this offer stand?
It sounds like a really good deal...

Yes. The offer is good for at least Feb and March starting today (technically tomorrow but today is ok)beltrom wrote:I just noticed something on eSoundz that I need to know if I misunderstood.

Too bad the opposite isn't true. I've got ST2xl and am interested in a crossgrade to SS2. It would be sweet to get Amplitube along with a crossgrade to SS2Squids wrote:Yes. Squids, you're amazing -- is there anything you won't do to satisfy a customer?!? Though she has never met you, my wife really doesn't like you at all!Squids wrote:I can give you AmpliTube Live/LE if you get the crossgrade. Of course, that'd be at my expense so... but if that is the straw then let me know. AT Live is really cool. It's a Vox AC30, a Fender Twin and a Marshall.

I've got an idea about how eSoundz can help maintain marital bliss for its customers. eSoundz could start stocking items that would make nice gifts for a spouse, such as chocolates, the latest book by Dr. Phil, etc. When a nervous hubby orders the latest sonic goodness from eSoundz, he could also order a box of chocolates. eSoundz shipping would then use a special shipping box with a false bottom. The chocolates go on top, and the DVD's or CD's go under the false bottom.beltrom wrote:Seems there'll be a crossgrade for me in the near future...
My wife is going to kill me...
When the package arrives, and the wife starts interrogating the nervous hubby about what's in the box, the hubby can open it up and say: "See honey, I just wanted to show how much I love you by buying you these chocolates." Then, while the wife is distracted by the blissful reverie she experiences as a result of such a thoughtful gesture, the hubby removes the disks from the false bottom of the box, copies them on his computer, and then hides or burns the disks so no one is the wiser.
eSoundz makes a sale, the hubby gets his sounds, and the wife gets the chocolates. Everyone's happy.
Of course when the wife reviews the credit card statements later, she might wonder why those eSoundz chocolates cost $200.

Even the $200 is no problem, they get drawn directly from my account.

Thanks, I'm just trying to think "inside" the box.Meffy wrote:Brilliant, Frunobulax! *applause* You could manufacture the boxes and make a mint. Or a caramel, if you prefer.

Dang,,, I guess I just missed this one, but since I upgraded Sampletank 2 XL on Jan 2, at least I get the free sounds when they come out. I got my sights set on the Capusule Group buy now. BTW, for those with fickle spouses, just claim that purchases of new sounds is in the interest of the marriage, because she/he will know exactly where you are at every moment. After all, it takes a lot of time to use all these sounds! Sounds are a great marriage saver! Another possibility,,,, write her/him a love song about how wonderful it is to have a spouse who lets you buy sounds!
I wonder how long it will take for Dr Phil to do a show about people married to people who can't resist group buys???
