It's just so nice...my first real rock guitar influence was Mick Taylor and that era of stones. Truly I wore Sympathy for the devil, live off get your ya ya's out learning to play lead. As well as, Brown Sugar, Gimme Shelter, Midnite Rambler, Bitch, Dance little sister...with the help of msn and my copies of hot rocks, goats head soup and get your ya ya's out I now have a two cd set of the stones songs I like.

So I just put them in and played them in random. I grabbed my gi-tar (guitar is the instrument, gi-tar is any guitar that belongs to me) and jammed. Of course I didn't retune my gi-tar (should of gone open G)I was in Am but it was like I was 12 again 'cept this time I know what I'm doing...god that was fun...Like I've said before, I still get that same kick, even after 33 years of countless gi-tars, amps, recording gear and bands...talk about the ultimate gift.. :D

The best thing is where your just chillin and you come up with an inspiring riff/solo/watever and then you go "wow"...then 2 seconds later you forget it :( ah well.

Maybe one day i'll pick up a guitar and feel like a kid...but heck, i still am a kid. I'm only 16...oh how many crappy gigs, band arguments and 'mid-life crisis's' left to come.

and according to my doctor the best thing I can do is play my gi-tar, he's also my number one fan. He likes bringing music home for his wife to hear.
