Personally I prefer the note G (although I occasionally use E as well).

I find there is a definite audible difference between G and A, but I don't have a website to host MP3s.....could someone post an example so that we can see if there really is any difference between G and A.

:hihi:

What about G#? Now I am really confused. :help:

Sesame Street? :?

i like A better. works as a better bass.

I think you have all overlooked D.

notes are seriously overrated

Just goes to show how opinions differ so much. See..... personally I find A too heavy in the higher frequencies, whereas G has a much more rounded boing in the bass.

And it's not my equipment - I experimented with both G and A...both in exactly the same octave, no FX, no down-rendering...and A was definitely too "toppy". :?

Bb

It's fun to interchange into a D Dorian solo with a Bb major under it.

I find G a bit flabby.

Now, c# - there's a note.

I think of it more as a gathering of poor punctuation and bad grammar..
