Hi all
This features only the M42 nebula VST, but with a a differance. I have been working on a new SF2 sound set as well as a small preset bank. This tune shows off some of the sounds. I think you will hear sounds you never knew M42 could do. I am excited about this new sound set. Just want to get feedback from you guys yourselfs.

Only EQ added in Tracktion
Thanks

They are not released yet...still working on 'em. This is a BIG teaser.
Does it sound different then the present M42?
basically it will have bread and butter stuff like a good FM rhodes ( in the piece) harp, some guitar, but also far out atmospherics ( which you can hear in this piece as well)and some cool lead stuff.

yep...been having a craving for any kind of candy lately..must hold back..must hold back!
Unless it's the right kind.
It was fun doing this new sound set, experimenting with combining different sounds and hearing the effect in M42. A bit of experimentation. Its one thing to have the raw samples. Quite another to make usable presets out of them

Excellent sounds here TC, nice work. The FM sounding bells works for me too. This is all awash with quality and your composition builds well too.

Tim,
this set moves M42 into a whole new zone and I love it. (Klaus will still approve too I think).
Actually, the last sound set was very very flexible and a big step forward for the M42 as a more versatile synth.

Thanks..still working on the soundfont however. The DR( who is our SF2 expert) says it needs more work, and I agree with him. It's my first SF2 creation, so I am still learning.dave175 wrote:Tim,

RE: Last soundset: you are talking about the new bank available..yes..it does bring the M42 into a more "bread and butter" area, but still capable of the space parade it can do. The Chuga-Chuga- TOTEM sound is what M42 has been known for,and is instantly recognizable in any piece on the CAFE here.
