OK, let's handle this by PM. If anyone else is having trouble, please just PM me.

Decompressing worked for me although i also got the error message:
It is possible to open jRhodes3.sfArk manually by clicking on sfArk's "Open"-Button and decompress the file by pression on the start button. Just ignore the message in the status bar.

Thank you great resurrector! There are many great Rhodes sample kits out there but JRhodes really clicked with me. Seems to be more up front to me, if that's a good way to put it. Good day---

A better place to find my Rhodes is https://github.com/sfzinstruments/jlearman.jRhodes3c .

The 3d version isn't posted to github.com/sfzinstruments yet. It's from the same sampling, but the samples are full-length rather than shortened and looped. But I'm having an issue trying to recreate the stereo image effect that's baked into jRhodes3c. What I have almost works but the image isn't quite centered. And I haven't been working on it lately, so don't hold your breath.

In either case, the effect is applied using mid-side technique so just sum to mono and the effect cancels out completely.

I wasn't aware of this when this thread started (over 15 years ago!) but for really excellent and affordable Rhodes and Wurlie, try https://www.purgatorycreek.com/ . Sadly, it required Kontakt, which I only have the free version of.

Actually, supported for Kontakt, Kronos/Nautilus, Kurzweil Forte, and Montage/MODX. None of which I have. :-(

Luckily I snagged the freeware version for K3/4/5
(https://web.archive.org/web/20150218141 ... page2.html)
when it was available and created an SFZ mapping for myself.

Thanks for posting that! I wish it was the Mark I or Mark II version instead. I snagged the Mark V and did a quick sfz mapping (note samples only, no releases.) I found out that I just don't care for the Mark V! It's obviously an excellent job of sampling, so it's the thing being sampled that I just don't care for. Who knew!

I've never played a Mark V. I've played most of the others, including a sparkle-top, half broken, but which had hollow square tonebars that looked like aluminum or magnesium or something. Sounded fantastic (at least, the keys that worked.) Fender Rhodes, Fender Rhodes Mark I, Rhodes Mark I (which mine was), and Mark II (early of which were identical to my late-era Mark I.) But nothing later than a Mark II.
