Introducing subtle analog distortion is my interpretation of "warmer".

I'm thinking of something like

"Vintage Warmer"

http://www.pspaudioware.com/plugins/vintage.html

basically, something tube-like..

Maybe the good ol www.digitalfishphones.com will do the trick. The Blockfish and Endorphin are starting the get heavily oldschool, but they might just do the trick.

The free TubeAmp at www.voxengo.com might also help.

CamelPhatFree is good as well. http://www.camelaudio.com/camelphatfree.php

and if you have CubaseSX: daTube

thanks for the help.. all of these suggestions are great!

Another option is to use SIR and some of the impulse Responses at www.noisevault.com - esp the Channel Emulator ones - seem to be good for imparting some analog stylee warmth

I still use Greasetube on a regular basis... pity TbT plugs have become hard to find :( if you can find it, itäs a nice compressor tube thing, that sounds rather good if driven gently.

tbt plugs are ressurected @ jacks hellhole!

where's that?
