They all claim to be poor musicians & helpless students but when I was a kid I took a bucket and washed all cars in the neighbourhood for $5 each and ended up with $100 in a weekend.

Easy, they do it cos they can. The majority of ppl who steal the apps never even use them anyway, and most prob arent musicians, they just like to brag that they have $20-000 of gear on their PC's.

It's not all stolen credit cards :

We just refuse about 65% of the orders we receive because of all kinds of reasons :

- (a lot of) stolen credit cards
- credit card addresses that are 10000 miles away from the actual owners address
- certain countries that never generated a real sale (read that didn't result in a chargeback)

Of the 35% that's left there's still about 7% that result in a chargeback.

It's really too crazy to be true : We have people that use the software for monts/years, get tons of support & (free) updates and then refund ... because the 'package was damaged' (for ONLINE software !)

I'm not even talking about the 150.000 warez users that are lurking on our servers/forums/samples all day & night.

I'm talking about people that order the software in our shop using all kinds of means.
