I'm looking for is a step sequencer that will only move ahead when a certain note is recieved.
In EnergyXT I have several midi parts set to be triggered in progression (For instance, C-4, C#-4, D-4 and D#-4). The problem is, I want to be able to do this with just one note.
For instance, if I press C-3 then the effect will send out C-4. If I press C-3 again then I will get C#-4, and the next press would be D-4 and so on and so forth.
However, if I press any note other than C-3, then the effect will ignore it.
This would be a great live tool, as you could progress a sequenced patern whenever you come back to a certain note. Not to mention how much it would help when playing drums.
So, is there anything out there that does this?
Can any effects do this?

Have you tried Midi-Ox and its data mapper? Should be able to do about 80% of your requirements (send notes if certain notes are received, possibly on a different port)
Edit: oh, I see you only use C3 to trigger... Midi-Ox won't work then. Can you use a step sequencer in eXT to trigger another step sequencer??

You should be able to build this in Reaktor.
