I have today received confirmation from matt
that The Auditorium can share his gigafont for the grand piano – I will start this off nice and slowly though, so I get an idea of the take up, and what the load of a 391MB download is going to do.
What ever you do don’t link directly to the file, or post the link anywhere as a direct download – atm, the file will become available to user of the Auditorium who are logged in – I have created a new section called Very Large Files in the sounds part, as soon as you log in it will show itself to you.
Don't use more than two threads on your download managers.
As I say once I get a better idea of how this is going to go – I will then make it available like every other file at the auditorium.
Please leave feedback here, at the auditorium or send matt an email. This is one extremely well crafted piano, it must have taken ages and ages to create.
Thanks to Koolkeys for uploading the gigafont, and a big thank you to Matt for this creation.
Best regards,
Peter

Peter,
if you need mirror space I can help. Not for a long time but it could be useful for the first "impact".
Let me know.

Thanks ZioKiller – I have more servers should I need them, so I think it can stay at the auditorium.ZioKiller wrote:Peter,

You need to register at Spe3D's site, then register at "The Auditorium" (a forum) within that site.Shane Sanders wrote:Would someone mind emailing me the link to this file?
BTW
Is this just a giga file? Or is there a soundfont version as well /

That's correct - very simple instant activation of account, I will know if someone is leaking the link.Pantsdown666 wrote:You need to register at Spe3D's site, then register at "The Auditorium" (a forum) within that site.Shane Sanders wrote:Would someone mind emailing me the link to this file?

This is for the gig font - in this thread here at k-v-r there is a link to another sound font site for the sound font file, page or so back.
Best regards,
Peter

Hope Matt will find a moment to read this thread and all the "thank you / merci / grazie / danke" for his creature.
Spe3d - sincerely a big THANK YOU for all the hard work. It's hard to find someone like you on the Net.
Koolkeys - Thanks a lot for sharing, and ... will you share the other Matt's files
in the future?

Sorry. I have been pseudo-following this thread for two days and the scenario keeps changing every other post both here and on Audioshots. I could have sworn someone said that the link was to be distributed via email to help curb server bandwidth.Spe3D wrote:That's correct - very simple instant activation of account, I will know if someone is leaking the link.Pantsdown666 wrote:You need to register at Spe3D's site, then register at "The Auditorium" (a forum) within that site.Shane Sanders wrote:Would someone mind emailing me the link to this file?
