I have today received confirmation from matt that The Auditorium can share his gigafont for the grand piano – I will start this off nice and slowly though, so I get an idea of the take up, and what the load of a 391MB download is going to do.

What ever you do don’t link directly to the file, or post the link anywhere as a direct download – atm, the file will become available to user of the Auditorium who are logged in – I have created a new section called Very Large Files in the sounds part, as soon as you log in it will show itself to you.

Don't use more than two threads on your download managers.

As I say once I get a better idea of how this is going to go – I will then make it available like every other file at the auditorium.

Please leave feedback here, at the auditorium or send matt an email. This is one extremely well crafted piano, it must have taken ages and ages to create.

That's correct - very simple instant activation of account, I will know if someone is leaking the link.

This is for the gig font - in this thread here at k-v-r there is a link to another sound font site for the sound font file, page or so back.

Sorry. I have been pseudo-following this thread for two days and the scenario keeps changing every other post both here and on Audioshots. I could have sworn someone said that the link was to be distributed via email to help curb server bandwidth.

Once you log in, the "Sounds" section has a sub-section called "Very Large Files". The link is at the bottom of the only thread in there at the moment.
