Real deal... I think it's a miracle that they can fabricate a fair amount of reverbed audio files in a short time with just the one hall with a gigantic reverb timejens wrote:I guess you could easily prepare one but of course that's no the real deal - or is it?whyterabbyt wrote:Surely there must be an impulse response for this?
Anyway, maybe this (495kb zipped flac) might pass for an impulse response...

it's an abandoned 200-meter high grain-silo
that was converted into a reverb tank in 2000.
upload your own sounds, or just listen to the
thousands of music bits already on it's server.

I mean, did ANYBODY - just once - had to wait because some other guy was just "recording" his sound at that time? Why wasting all the nice Mics and Preamps for the whole time, if they could get an IR once and let this poor old tank rest in peace?!farlukar wrote:hau ab!

I dunno, this site has been around for a couple years at least, and (I haven't checked lately but) you used to be able to listen to it live as other people played stuff into it.Otium wrote:I mean, did ANYBODY - just once - had to wait because some other guy was just "recording" his sound at that time?
