Commercial Overall Product of the Year
The big one! A surprising result, as it didn't win any of the other categories, but Image Line's FL Studio was chosen by KVR Members as their overall commercial product of the year, no doubt due to its flexibility and many uses. Live was 54 votes behind with energyXT slotting in at third place a further 44 votes behind that.

Ableton Live
Jørgen Aase energyXT
Steinberg Cubase
Spectrasonics Stylus RMX

Perhaps a bit too "far out" for some people. The number of newbie "can someone explain cos i don't really get it" threads for XT is probably bigger than for any other host.rokkon wrote:i was so sure eXT was gonna make this one...
But hey its had its share of recognition so thats great

on the other hand, people usually are sluggish, and eXT is still quite new compared to FLS and Live. So in that light, place 3 maybe is quite good.

But I gotta tell you, if Ableton can do some improvement on the MIDI side of things, it could be the new #1 on the next survey.
