Hey everyone, I was on the Sonic Imaplnts website and I seen something. I need some good strings, but i do not want to spend much at all. I seen Sonic Implants offering a soundfont disc with orchestral strings for $50. Has anyone got this? Is it good?

Thanks!

:D I have the mini, it's an all soundfont library just under the big set. The strings you were looking at was my first SI strings set but updated with some of the new ensambles. A new and improved set. I still use that older set because it has solo strings. And I augment them with the mini. So My opinoun here is this. I have never been disapointed in any SI product. Some might disagree with that but It's boils down to value for price :)+) If you can't afford the big sets SI's products offer a quality alternative.

The only soundfont that I didn't really like were the saxes, but even then I still find some of them (baritone, soprano) useful. Sonic Implants is amazing at making great, small soundfonts. Their brush drums, for example, are only about 6 megs and yet they are some of the best brush drum soundfonts you can find.

Now I just need to find more songs to put in their jazz scat vocal soundfont. :D
