I have a serious dilemma here.
Some money will be coming my way within the next few weeks and I've decided that I need to get myself a new Sequencer/Audio Multitracker.
Now, the dilemma is.....do I stick to what I know (and love might I add) in the form of Cubase, or do I venture out into the unknown and go down the Samplitude road?
I know that Steinberg have released plenty of bug-ridden software, but their latest offering is supposed to be really solid. Another thing that interests me is the acquisition of Steinberg by Yamaha...I'm just thinking about the possibilities going down the Steinberg road, seeing as Steinberg and Yamaha started to develop a close relationship before the release of SX3.
Now, I've heard good things about Samplitude 8 Professional, but since I've never used it, I was hoping that some of you kind people can enlighten me with any experiences you've had with Samplitude.
Your opinions and any comparisons you can make between the two would be much, much appreciated.
Thanks,
John
