hey, the helicopter tool made it in!!
it's a T2 easter egg:
put four vol/pan filters in a row on the first track. delete the metering filter.
rename the track to "GROUNDHOG"
add an empty midi-clip four bars long (any tempo)
now use the pants tool to mark off the middle two bars of the selected clip, and the helicopter tool will fly out of the master-fader filter slot!

it will land on the transport bar once it's flown once around the screen, and you can pick it up from there.
i found that after using it for a few hours it would fly off to the project page. is this a bug jules? i managed to find it after scratching my head for a few minutes.
unfortunately it doesn't stay enabled if you close tracktion, unless you reopen the specially made easter-egg edit; you don't have to pants-off any of the clips, it will automatically be there for you. i find it handy to keep that project open for when i launch tracktion. it would be great if i didn't have to do this any more tho; for T2.1 perhaps, jules? i'd like to be able to keep the helicopter on by default.

Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.
