I don't know, but if you want to make the pad sound, check out Rumpelrausch Taips' Crazy Diamonds VSTi. ;-)

A Kurzweil (250?) would not have been used on the original version, as it did not exist yet when the album was done (1975?). I know that Floyd were quite fond of the EMS, used it all over the "Dark Side Of The Moon" album. My guess would be that they continued using that....lesha wrote:i have pink floyd's "the pulse" video (october '94) and i can see that a kurzweil is used for the pad, i'm interesting in the lead synth...

hm - I don't want to rub you in, but isn't Dave Gilmour rather the guitar-player (& singer) of PF...
I always thought Richard Wright was the keyboarder!

..as far as i know most Pink Floyd members were multiinstrumentalists....
..i don´t know who played it exactly..maybe all together
but this i written on my LP:
"Pink Floyd: David Gilmour (vocals, guitar, VCS3 synthesizer); Roger Waters (vocals, VCS3 synthesizer, bass, sound effects); Richard Wright (keyboards, VCS3 synthesizer, background vocals); Nick Mason (drums, percussion, sound effects)"
..and genesis used the VCS3, too...

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
