www.gigfiles.com -- anyone have any experience with this site and it's product? i stumbled across it looking for free EXS instruments, i think. the piano libraries they offer for the price of subscription seem almost too good to be true, but the demos don't do any of the stuff justice -- which makes me skeptical.

There are audio demos on every soundfont.
It's hard to see them thou.
Look for a funny looking round play button next to the names. (on some pages they look different and on some they are in different format but they are there)
My impression from the demos was that these sound, thou good, are not worth the price they are asking for.

I found some of the demos somewhat irritating. The piano had an awful amount of phasing on it, the drumkit was badly panned and just sounded really dull. I didn't even get the feeling to be listening to a guitar with the guitar demos. It sounded more like a badly constructed E-piano at 5 meters distance. The guy obviously doesn't know how to control his panning buttons. As for the world percussion, it sounded completely mechanical.
