Hello.. I have a Logitec MX-1000 mouse.. It has 8 buttens and 4way scroll witch is very nice.. But somehow I can't use the sideways scrolling in my host "Cubase SX" Anyone knows how to workaround this?.. If anyone are a wiz in this area.. How do you assign the last 6 buttons for specific funktions? If I could get it fixed, it would improme my workflow very much.. Thanks..

The left/right scroll does work by default in the Wavelab demo, unfortunately not in SX. Also, AFAIK there is no key command for simply "scrolling" (the window, not the playback cursor) in SX3.

There are key commands for fastforward/rewind/jog/shuttle functions, so if the left/right scrolling is assignable in your version of Logitech Mouseware then you could set those to a key sequence and then set that key sequence as a key command in SX.

If you do this you will obviously not be able to use the left/right scroll in other applications without manually changing it back again in Mouseware, because the Logitech software does not work on a per-application basis.

The only similar functionality is the middle-click in the arrange window to drag the SX scroll position, but if you put in feature request they may add it in a future version of SX.

EDIT: I don't know what the last six buttons are on the MX1000, but as I said above you can assign them to a keystroke sequence when Mouseware is installed, from the Control Panel >> Mouse >> Buttons page. Then assign that keystroke sequence to a key command in SX.
