I have cubase sx2, yeah it has rudimentary stretching, but the pitch isnt preserved and the transients are destroyed, even when i +\- 10 bpm
any suggestions on some dx vst or standalone appz that can change the time as well as preserve pitch and not harm sharp transients? im currently looking at prosoniq time factory...any good?

You can timestretch with cubase sx2 too. There is even the mpex algorithm implemented. That is the best timestretch algorithm available.

Yes, CubaseSX Timestretch is the best.SOLA wrote:You can timestretch with cubase sx2 too. There is even the mpex algorithm implemented. That is the best timestretch algorithm available.
Don't forget to set algorithm to MPEX.
I think Prosoniq Timefactory uses the same algo.
