Download my recently posted Latin Percussion soundfont. It contains a very realistic vibraslap with multiple velocity levels. Enjoy!

Use something like AWAVE (by FMJ Soft) to convert/extract the part of the soundfont you need.
Really, a SF2 file is not much more than a collection of WAVS and some info on how to use them.

ok, so I found the soundfont, d/l'd it, d/l'd the shareware version of awave and tried to open the soundfont. It says unsupported file type.
I just want the vibraslap sample...
I suck at the internet.

Bizarre... I have opened SF2 files with Awave successfully before.
Try to send a PM to geoffkhan, creator of the Latin soundfont. Maybe he is kind enough to send you the single vibraslap sample.

Search the forums for a free utility called sfZed. (The forum search is down right now, or I'd give you a link). This program will import a soundfont and allow you to save it in sfz format including individual wav files.

Say, are you sure you fetched Awave Studio and not Awave Audio? Its the Studio you need... I'm on dial-up now, so a bit reluctant to download the 7MB sf2 file just for a test
