i opened it in orion platinum...nice looking plugin by the way. tried it as an insert with plucked strings ..says i'm trying a mono plugin on a steeo channel. tried it as an insert on orion's monobass...same thing. tried it as a send with monobass and it worked. played with the controls and it semed to be working well, then locked up....but that might have been ..well, it was probably the plug but that's happenned before. i'm going to give it another spin tonight....i'll try it in console, too and get back to you with resuLTS.
when it was working it sounded great!

Thanks a lot uncadave for your feedback...
sounds like Orion (and Energy XT BTW) needs the plug to specify the its input and output are STEREO.... (HansM that's the stuff wer were discussing
) There are some VST function for that...
I'll add that tonight...
"Then Locked UP" ????

works quite nicely in ext (you have to copy the msvcr80.dll to the C:\Windows folder or the according system root folder to get it to work).
thanks

Thanks a lot for all the reports...
On some system (windows XP) copying the msvcr80.dll seems to work only on machine that have a visual studio installed.
I use regmon and i saw that this library open the registry and check for registry keys.....
If you don't have visual studio the registry keys does not exist...
Even "Framework 2.0 beta" which install the library does not solve the problem.
That's a bad news for "VC++ Express Beta1" VST development (which is FREE)...
I'll try to build a dll with my VC++6.0.
Thanks again,
Xavier

VC++ 6.0 does not allow SSE C instructions..
Anyway i've just uploaded a new version at the same link... for those who had the plug loaded.
Stereo problem is solved and now it supports hosts that does not send 2 times the same buffer size... (Fruity Loops !!)
(I know some clicks stays in the buffers !!!)...

(First message of this thread updated)
Thanks for the feedbacks....
The beta 3 is uploaded and hopefully much more stable with fruity loops...
It also has 2 or 3 new features...

At least it seems to work !!hlmst wrote:erm the Lowpass filters seem to work like 10x faster than the highpass. WHy is that? And oh, why dont the filters "switch off" when u switch off a section?
The High pass cut frequency changes from 0Hz to <cross frequency> depending on the knob position....
The low pass cut frequency changes from 22Khz to <cross frequency>
<cross frequency> can be adjusted from 500Hz to 5000 Hz...
I don't understand the "swtich off" probllem !!

Fired this baby up and it instantly went and got me a cold beer, a fajita then gave me a shoulder massage...
Actually, my f**king DAW blew up on saturday and I haven't even had chance to play with yet!!
Looks good though, can't wait to give it a spin, soon I hope.

Hi Ixox,
Haven't had a chance to test your plugin yet, but wanted to let you know that if you install the processor pack for Visual C++ 6.0 you can actually use sse intrinsics in VC6. The only caveat is that there are only processor packs available for service pack 4 and 5, not for the latest sp6.
cheers,
Niko
