Hi -
i did post this question once before, a while back, but didn't really get any response from it......so here goes.
I have a korg Triton, which I midi up to my Pc by using an EDIROL usb to midi interface. Now, I have Cubasis, ACID PRO 5 and some stand alone plug-ins (like proteus x) they all respond fully to the midi input from the keyboard INCLUDING, the foot switch, after touch, and the various knobs/sliders BUT>............FL 5 doesn't! I can play notes, but it doesnt recognise the pedal or anything! Is this correct? HOw can I fix it? There is something about adding a controller or dashboard? But I don't really understand that! Can anyone help please!
Thanks.

If you search the forum you would have gotten an answer. But since I'm a nice person, and I did have the same problem for years (I never figured out how to get it working) I'm gonn acopy and paste an old post I made.
***OLD POST STARTS****
I used to have the same problem until I had to ask around here and they gave me a pretty good tip.
1. Load your VSTi
2. Load a MIDI OUT generator.
3. Set both of them to the same port
4. Right click one of the knobs on the midi out and click "configure"
5. Set it to recieve CC 64 and click ok.
6. Right click the same knob and click "link to controller" and when the lil window pops up, just press your Sustain pedal.
This should work with most stuff. Remember that you have to record the MIDI into the MIDI OUT generator for them to be passed to the VSTi.
If I'm wrong on any of this stuff please correct me. I'm at work and I dont have FLStudio in front of me.

open vsti. go to the knob or slider you want to assign to midi and play with it with your mouse. click on the little plug picture on the top left corner of the wrapper. hit browse parameters. now you'll see all the adjustable parameters of the plugin. and the one you just played with using the mouse is highlighted. you can play with a knob/slider just to see that whichever one you play with is highlighed. anyway, right click on the highligted parameter and click link to controller. you'll see the midi thing pop up. make sure auto detect is on. now you can tweak the knob/slider on your midi controller and there you go. you'll see the vsti knobs/sliders move. I'm not sure if this is the answer to your question as I don't have pedals and aftertouch and all that good stuff. I just have a basic little midi controller.
