Design and functionality-wise I like what Tweakbench and Shane Sanders have done with their sites (I prefer a less-is-more approach). Shane gets extra props for his 3D work and photography too. But I've seen lots of decent sites from members here.

(though methinks you exagerrate!)... the site IS coming along... I've had trouble finding the time to finish it due to commercial web and music work, especially as the scripted interactive elements are such a headache for a non-programmer such as myself when they go beyond simple trigonometric generative graphics. New pre-launch teaser site will be launched later this week.

This site is seriously addictive. I'm lost on one page, or is it movie, can't get out ! This one really made me lough. All the little widgets and flying gizmos...niiice.
Great site and design. (But I can't get out!

Had a look and I like the Tweakbench look a lot.
Shane Sanders' site is great too.
Both slick and functional.

Thanks guys! I'm a minimalist at heart, but sometimes like to add fluff. Here's a screenshot from a possible upcoming Futurehaus.com renovation:cptgone wrote:dystonia_ek wrote:Design and functionality-wise I like what Tweakbench and Shane Sanders have done with their sites

There have been a lot of sites mentioned in this thread that I haven't seen. I'll have to check them out tonight when I'm not at work.

raster graphics = poop
at least imo
am I the only one present that dislikes the flash-made websites?
I prefer the CSS/DHTML with javascripting instead type websites..
that said I have yet to see a website posted that I've really disliked completely (though I didnt look at puttes site

i feel the same; flash ones are fun for a diversion but not for a go-to site. i like sites to be made up of text and images, and to be conventional in operation.
again, i point you towards my lovely minimalistic site!
