This band has done some really brilliant parody work doing Beatles songs in Metallica style. Sony just recently sent a cease and desist order to their website's ISP and it was shut down. What remains is a statement with further explanation, and a link to an online petition to save the site :

I just had to post about this - Sony is using its muscle to shut down what should be protected as parody. They were not selling anything, and even Metallica liked what Beatallica were doing and have voiced their support for the band.
This sucks.

Cowardly damn ISP...I wonder if they have the right to shut down their client's website based on complaints and legal threats. A cease and desist letter certainly is not the same as a court order.

I might also add that I was seriously considering buying Sound Forge 8 when it is released, but I think I'll look elsewhere now since it's a Sony product.

That really sux. The page is completely down now.
