I had problems with playing .mpg files after removing WMP fromn my system. But I used XPlote for that, not the "normal" Windows uninstall.

Considering the TCPA: we already learnt (were taught) to accept the fact that we do not own anything in software form.
We got used that paying hundreeds on a product does not entitle us to use it as we see fit. Sometimes we have to ask permission to use it, just because we formatted our hard-drive. But that's okay.

And we don't mind at all that the laws that were supposed to encourage artists to create new stuff, are used now by large corporations to prevent artists from using available materials - cratively.

And heck, since piracy is such a big issue, I guess it's okay to prevent me from using my legitimately bought CD on my PC by installing a software I did not want.

So TCPA? no problem. You'll get used to it

(thing is, people don't mind getting f**ked, as long as it's done gradually and a lot of lube is used).
