I need a VST compressor with a sidechain. Any ideas?

If someone has tried it with Ableton Live 4 and actually got it working in that environment, all the better...

sidechaining via crunchessor in ableton live has always been crashing here (and i am not the only one)
version history says nothing of a fix - though Aleksey said he'll check out that problem so maybe it has been fixed?!

Crunchessor itself works fine but sidechaining in Live doesn't...

I just tested it with four audio tracks and I stand corrected. I did could enbale sidechaining but it did not do anything. And Live crashed anytime I wanted to close a project or move Crunchessor to another track.

I'm just so happy with Crunchy I didn't realise the s/ch was so buggy. Is this due to Live or Chrunchy?

Yeah...I asked Aleksey about it and he blames Live. So I'll retract my above statement 200 times and get back to playing with my, er, get back to writing music.

kovacs, I'm working on a recently found bug with Crunchessor's sidechain (it does not work when feeded with a single side-chain channel only). Let's see if that can help to get that Live-related bug solved. If not, then it's definitely something to do with Live.

BTW, you may try configuring Pristine Space to 4in/2out - if it does not work in Live, then it's definitely Live's issue.
