Actually asking for a friend squids, but is Sampletank 2 L eligable for the SS2 upgrade? Some people are under the impression that it is, but according to the eSoundz site, only ST2 XL and SS1 are eligable. Just want to clear this up so he can make his decision.
Came across another question I couldn't answer with any confidence. Someone asked me if Battery is the same as Battery 2? I'm not really that familiar with Battery. I hate to give answers I'm not sure about. Thanks

eSoundz is prety clear: only ST2XL and SS1 qualify for the upgrade. Your friend might want to consider upgrading to ST2XL anyway, because there are more sounds, and there will be more crossgrade options in the future (Studiophonik, Philharmonik, etc).harmony gardens wrote:Actually asking for a friend squids, but is Sampletank 2 L eligable for the SS2 upgrade? You're asking about NI's Battery software? Read about it here.harmony gardens wrote:Came across another question I couldn't answer with any confidence. Someone asked me if Battery is the same as Battery 2? I'm not really that familiar with Battery. I hate to give answers I'm not sure about. Thanks

Thanks Jees, I totally agree. I know it probably seems like a dumb question, since it's clearly posted, but wasn't sure if there had been a post somewhere that I missed. Anyway, thanks for confirming this for me.
Also, thanks for the link for Battery. I didn't really pharse my question properly about Battery, was a little tired when I posted, what I'm really asking is will the Capsule sounds load into Battery as well as Battery 2? That's what the guy really wants to know, that I'm too uniformed to answer. LOL,, Sorry for being a little unclear.

Your right Jeez.
I've just been answering a lot of questions on a thread over in the Project 5 forum, and there were a few things I didn't know. I should just point people over here to ask this stuff to you themselves. I'm just trying to promote the group buy, and try to be as helpful as I can, but I don't know EVERYTHING.
Cheers

Actually, when it came up in conversation on whether to allow L to crossgrade to SS2 I think I said "Sure why not?" so, now I believe it DOES qualify in case someone wanted mainly the engine of ST2 but the sounds of SS2. It's an option.

LMFAO,,, Thanks Squids. http://www.cakewalk.com/forum/tm.asp?m=380589 We have a pretty good thread running. I'm trying to give the best info I can, but sometimes it's good to get it straight from the man!!Squids wrote:Actually, when it came up in conversation on whether to allow L to crossgrade to SS2 I think I said "Sure why not?" so, now I believe it DOES qualify in case someone wanted mainly the engine of ST2 but the sounds of SS2. Hey, that's a nice thread. It seems like you and just a few others are keeping it alive but sometimes it takes a thread hanging around for a while before people start to read it. I know that happens for me on KVR. I'll see some thread and think "oh, whatever" and then I'll see it two days later still there and think "alright, FINE, let's see what they are talking about here...".
You guys are doing a great job spreading the word. Keep it up! We've got about a week left and if it breaks 100 I might start throwing extra bonuses in.

Thanks for stopping over there Squids. If you get time, it would be cool to have you post. I don't think you'd get flamed if you said a few words. composed is really enthusistic which helps.

Ha, yeah I can see. He reminds me of ATS a little, especially because he's caught onto the epointz referal system pretty quick. I think some people already have $50 in epointz already.harmony gardens wrote:Thanks for stopping over there Squids. If you get time, it would be cool to have you post. I will post over there when I have something ready for Project 5 ver 2. We're going to do some great support for that, especially in downloadable sounds. But, otherwise I am not a Sonar user so I don't know what to say there really. I use Cubase so sometimes I go to the Cubase forum but even there I've cut back. I like to post here where people know me best. But, please tell anyone there to feel free to come here to ask me any questions which I am always available to answer or help with in any way I can.

Anywhere. It goes by IK's registration. If you buy the Sonik Synth 2 crossgrade (which is only available from dealers that carry and of course esoundz is always one of them that will) then it doesn't matter where you bought the ST2L from because your registration of the L will allow you to authorize the discounted SS2 crossgrade.Jeez wrote:Is this available everywhere, or only at eSoundz?rmirabelle wrote:SampleTank 2 L is also eligable for the SS2 Crossgrade.
