I might also add that I was seriously considering buying Sound Forge 8 when it is released, but I think I'll look elsewhere now since it's a Sony product.

I didn't know SoundForge was Sony...just as well I never bought it. Ever since around 1990, I won't buy anything that is Sony - not even a measly cassette tape. Sony started the not-mending consumer DAT crap, and especially seeing how craply made most consumer DAT machines were, I then vowed to avoid Sony. And have done to this day.

I know nothing whatsoever about Beatallica, but Sony's attitude towards them doesn't surprise me.

A shame really, as Sony have made the odd very nice piece of hardware in the past, but I'll never buy them.

I hate anyone using any kind of power to shut other people up. I'm old enough to remember what to live with censorship everywhere is about. And step-by-step dictatorial powers are getting in charge.
