I've got a few that sit in front of me:

time = samples/samplerate

delay time = (60 / tempo) * 1000

LFO speed = tempo / 60

Forever,

good for measuring delay time and lfo speed

for delay effects and lfo's :P

I'd also assume they're good for timing snare fills as labeled in the chart 'SNARE FILL TABLE (120-140 BPM)'

hehehe

thanks all.. I was in need of these formulas.. last week :hihi:

First column = 60 / "BPM", being the length in seconds of one beat (same as one-quarter note) at this tempo.

Next colums in the first table show the length in seconds of one and two bars, being one-quarter note length times 4 or 8.

Next columns in the second table show the length in seconds of one-sixteenth and 1/32 notes. Now the time is divided by instead of multiplied.

I'd only need to know the length in seconds of notes & bars if my host would only work with a timescale of seconds, and not with beats. Like Audacity & ancient CoolEdit or any other basic audio editor without piano rolls or midi facilities.

Once you've figured out how to use it, I think you don't really need it anymore :wink:
