Hi

I'm having real problems selecting samples in the multitrack view so I use the multitrack effects.

I've tried following the instructions in the help file several times. Copied the actions in a tutorial at Creative Cow, but the effects are still not highlighted.

Am I the only one with this problem? :help:

Multi track and edit view are quite different. Instead of trying to open fx from the box on the right try putting the effect either in the track settings box for that track, or by clicking the fx button in the mixer for that track, then set up rack, close and close the rack box. When you click on the fx button again all the effects will come that are assigned in that track and you will have tabs for fx and an fx bus mixer... :D
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Now you're mixing up your fx types. There are two different types in Multitrack view, the regular type also available in Edit view and the three specialist Multitrack fx situated at the top of the fx tree.

I'm trying to use the Frquency Band Splitter.

There appears to be special conditions in the way you select samples, before they are available for use with the Multitrack fx. I have managed it at least once, not when I needed it though :?

Thanks for trying.
