Turns out it would be easy to scam me if I'm paying by card. Unless I'm closely watching my pennies, I don't pay much attention to the total of a transaction at all. I just mindlessly swipe my card.

Worth checking out the Reaktor course which is free and ongoing
(Disclaimer: I already have Reaktor so havent tested this discount)
https://www.kadenze.com/courses/sound-s ... ources/314
I have K10, but I wouldn't mind purchasing the full version of Reaktor 6 so I could later sell my Reaktor 5 (My K10 is a crossgrade from Reaktor 5).
I could also use some instruction, so this may be a win-win, if true.
You have to become a premium member to get the discount
Discount Available
Kadenze Premium members receive $100 off! To purchase this resource, simply click the "Get Discount" button, and proceed to the item's store, where you can complete the check out process.
I'm getting a 403 no-permission error.
Thank you for clearing it up, though.
Its worth it as you have access to the course content/videos which is free

About the $100 discount for Reaktor, it's the educational version. For me this doesn't change anything, I'm not doing commercial stuff, but I think this should be mentioned on the Kadenze site.
Anybody know if crossgrade to Komplete is available with edu version?

Sales tax is close to 10% in my area. Those 15% GC coupons narrow down to 5%. The only positive is instant gratification.Blue Phase Music wrote:Visiting Guitar Center yesterday reminded me of all the really cool, expensive stuff I can't afford that I'd love to get at JRR Shop.
I'd love to be able to start collecting Gift Cards as soon as next Friday, if they're available.

That's because if developers undercut their vendors they start losing vendors.VariKusBrainZ wrote:I know, which is why I asked.e@rs wrote:60% off with code 'FOCUS60'. It's active right now on their official store. Until 02.14.VariKusBrainZ wrote:Sonalksis - will they be on sale?

When it comes to instruments I'd prefer to buy it there than trust UPS or FedEx handling them. If you are going to spend some money on an American made guitar or bass it's best to take them home. They are not as cookie cutter as you think,Numanoid wrote:To me music gear shops like Guitar Center et al is like going to the fairground without having to pay to get in.Blue Phase Music wrote:Visiting Guitar Center yesterday reminded me of all the really cool, expensive stuff I can't afford that I'd love to get at JRR Shop.
I don't even have to buy anything in the shop, I can spend an hour or two playing and jamming with the latest $1000+ gear, on top of that I can even hassle the shop attendants and they will have to serve me (my trump card is of course: "it is indeed tempting, but I will have to think about it")
Had I run such a shop, I would most def have charged an entrance fee

I won't be purchasing guitars or anything that could possibly be individual, per-item. Besides, I'd love to support Uncle E, who has treated this forum very well over the years.kitekrazy wrote:When it comes to instruments I'd prefer to buy it there than trust UPS or FedEx handling them. I'll probably never need a commercial license, but I'd rather have one than educational. That changes things for me.
Actually, I wouldn't mind paying for their service, but I can't. I can't seem to join EITHER membership, free or Premium. I get a 403 no-permission error for either. Don't know what's going on.

Once you created your account, you must enroll in the course to see the discount. Enrollment is free.Blue Phase Music wrote:Actually, I wouldn't mind paying for their service, but I can't. [EDIT] Ah, membership pages gave me errors, but enrolling in the course did it. Thanks!

The full price for reaktor educational version it's 99€ in Europe, so, what I thinks this means is, if you subscribe to Kadenze you qualify for the educational version
