Huh? At least try to pretend to be interested in the bargain thread by reading the latest post in that thread

This was already posted by GAMMA UT upstream
Funny, right?

They've done that before... seems OK to me if it's the actual vendor, though.

Does someone knows for sure if Melodyne Essential is integrated in Tracktion 6? During NAMM T6 can be bought for just 40$ and I was thinking of buying it just for Melodyne essential if it's included. I'm asking this because in the traction web site Melodyne essential is mentioned only in the TRACKTION T6+ PACK
Also, since I've got Cubase Pro, is melodyne essential really superior to the variaudio feature included in Cubase?
Thanks in advance for any reply

I don't see the need when it is already posted.

If somebody only visit that thread to post their own deals, without bothering checking other deals, then it is a corporate take over of a fan thread

I post a lot of deals, but I always read the other deals other users have posted since I last posted in there. Because I am always looking for a bargain of course 8)

I haven't installed it yet, but I don't think so. I got a separate serial delivered when upgrading to Tracktion 6 recently

I being told to use the license code to redeem it from Celemony at this page, which makes me think it will work as a standalone or VST in any DAW

Corporate takeover? KVR exists to advertise.

There are things worth being upset over and this is not one IMO. The post was a small, unobtrusive post by the dealer.

A vendor should be able to post their own announcement in the bargain thread if they want. Otherwise, a KVR grudge holder could post: "You can get AmazinglyExpensive synth for $10. Too bad it still sucks."

Then the dealer for AmazinglyExpensive synth wouldn't be able to post an announcement of their sale in the thread. So, the only ad would be from a KVR member that said it sucked.

Thanks for your reply, but what I meant was: is melodyne essential included in the price of Tracktion 6 (that would be 40$ with the actual discount) or do I need to buy one of the bigger packages to get it?

Post

Melodyne Essential comes with Tracktion 6 (regular edition).

I bought the upgrade from 5 to 6 (no extras) and received a serial for Melodyne Essentials the next day.

So why do you bother making a reply

Next it's going to be OK for devs to post sale ends tomorrow, sale ends today, sale ends in few hours reminders as well I guess

This is such a typical BS statement.

You said they shouldn't do it. I replied and expressed my opinion that it wasn't a big deal.

Newsflash: Someone posting an opinion in a discussion doesn't automatically mean that a person think it's a big deal.

I don't like ketchup on my hotdogs, but having that opinion on it doesn't mean that I think ketchup choice is a big deal. Particularly when someone says, "Hey, I like ketchup on my hotdogs. What do you think?"

Opinions? You are belitteling my opinion by saying that it isn't a big deal

I made a post, my opinion, why users must hack away at that in several replies makes me think it is a big deal to them

Have you trialed Melodyne essential?
Have you looked at the feature differences in Melodyne essential vs Cubase Pro's Variaudio 2.0 ?
Have you looked at the feature differences in Melodyne essential vs assistant vs editor vs studio?

 Yep, it's belittling when people have different opinions.

I'll leave the bargain thread alone now.

This puts a lot of gear that would ordinarily be far out of reach for me within reach.

Thank you again. :tu:
Thank YOU! If you hadn't been asking me for it, I probably would have kept putting it off. It's something I've wanted to get completed for a long time. :)
Just took advantage of this. :tu:

Possibly more, later today or tomorrow. :)
