I am trying to decide if Sample Logic's Xosphere is worth the price after their current 30% discount (code SHOP30).

Does anyone have an opinion on this? That would make it $210, which still seems a bit high. I dunno... affluenza...

I'm looking to buy the Waves SSL plugins, either as the normal Waves SSL Bundle or the Waves Studio Classics Bundle. I know they were on sale ridiculously cheap at some point in the last few months, but I missed them - does anyone know if they are on sale regularly or they are likely t drop price again soon?

Sample Logic libraries are very good products, but still overpriced even with these rebates.

I bought some libraries from them when they were on sale cheaper than that and they were worth it.

So, ask yourself these questions: Do I really need it? What will I use it for? What will I get from this that I don't already have?

If you're uncertain, don't spend for a library over 200$, even if it's on sale...

I bought some libraries from them when they were on sale cheaper than that and they were worth it.

So, ask yourself these questions: Do I really need it? What will I use it for? What will I get from this that I don't already have?

For those without Kontakt it is a bonus that they are Kontakt Player compatible, meaning that it is possible to sell them second hand later, and also that they can be used to get a rebate crossgrading to full version of Kontakt

Is it worth it to upgrade to Cubase 8 LE for $10 ?

I would have bought it if I could use Halion Sonic SE 2 as VST in any DAW, but I am never gonna use Cubase 8 LE as a main DAW.

Just recently I got an offer from Steinberg to upgrade that to LE8 for $10

I don't know if Cubase lE8 will run all VST3 plugs, but it allows me to use my VSL libraries in it when other VST2 plugs aren't allowed.

I need to play around in it a little more before I make a decision to pull the trigger on Cubase 8.5 Pro or not. It's so much easier to sequence in S1v3 for me right now.

I don't know if this will be of interest to you, but I have a code left over to get the SSL Duende Native Essentials (Buss comp and Channel strip) for $169US. Well, I paid $149 at checkout, but the coupon does state $169 as the price.

Being for Kontakt Player is no guarantee that you'll be able to sell them second hand. That decision is up to the individual developer.

In fact, Sample Logic doesn't allow resale (as stated in their EULA).

Thanks for the info, and that is a very generous offer

But I will not be using AI8 either as a DAW really, I mainly would want that or LE8 in order to use HALion Sonic SE2 as a regular VST in any DAW, and I don't think that is possible.

So better that your code go to somebody who will make better use of it than me
