Yes but it is EXTREMELY bad design that you can actually add the thing and then nothing happens. Noticed this problem only because I got lucky and saw this right here.Sampleconstruct wrote:Envelopes only work on keygroup level, it's been mentioned several times already.
So basically I was trying for ages to get an envelope to modulate the sparkverb width but nothing happened. Then I added an LFO and it worked right off the bat.
I shouldn't have been able to add that envelope in the first place. If something doesn't work, it should not be possible to execute. Heck it even shows up in the tree list as a valid modulation source, yet it just wont produce the results.
.. or then I just haven't figured out what can and can not be done. None the less.. my first 10 to 15 minutes with this thing have been fairly frustrating.. and when it comes to twiddling with synths, I'm no noob.
Another thing that frustrates me is the lack of drawing tools and quatinzing in the Mapper window. It's awesome that we CAN map stuff and scale things but that there are no snap tools or the ability to manipulate a line/bezier type system instead of rows of values is frustrating to say the least. Another area where Alchemy got Falcon beat by a mile. Then again I do like that you can type in your own formula but that won't work in many instances.
