Thanks for tracking me lol. Glad I'm so important for you.

Yes I promote what I want, and its often synths I've worked on. No surprise. And even sometimes from synths or companies that get a regular bashing on certain forums. ( Like Omnisphere, or Arturia, or Lennar, or Camel audio recently etc etc . Yes you can see me in all these threads. (just mentioning this if these posts are not in your collection yet, because I suppose you'd like the picture to be as small as possible to fit your complaint scheme, but I might be a bit less flat that that)

And you do the same. ( But I'm just not very intersted into making a collection of the threads where you promote the stuff you like. Sorry for that)

Besides that I just NEVER made a comment on the quality of Diva in this thread. (Just read : Never ) Facts.

Oh .... And sorry for not belonging in your club as well. Answer or not, but I wont read it

"La la la la can't hear you." I understand it's an approach to debate that works for five year olds. But you seem to have been around for longer than that. Isn't it time you perhaps approached things in a more mature fashion?

hardware sound slighty more alive overall, i gave it a quick listen and on a few patchs i might enjoyed more the software , funny there is some similarty bewteen this diva shoutout and the tal vs sh101 , this one closer cause of emulating one synth in particular , but there is some similarity between the hardware and software difference in both shoutout.
in this test he used probably very similar setting on hardware and the software so it s more a true comparaison and not real world .. for me it s more a valid test if it's not aimed at trying to advantage a software with programing, something that still failed for me in this diva shoutout

LOL, let's aggregate all shootouts of all plug-ins ever made and just say "hardware sounds more alive". Or, aggregate all shootouts of all plug-ins ever made, say "look how close they've come!" and wait for the next random person to post "ah well, hardware sounds more alive in this" :hihi:

I presume that we can do 37 more shoot outs with double blind A/B testing, and once the result is unleashed someone will say "d'oh, it's obvious, the hardware sounds more alive" - no matter what the result of the A/B testing was

I guess the only way to do this is to close the thread to posts only for those who have taken a bet before the result was unveiled. Otherwise there'll always be the suspicion that people just add their personal bias - in both directions.

The stats are a bit onesided though. Feeling excessively pedantic, I thought I'd try and discern some numbers.

And they're kind of interesting. You've made about one quarter (1600) of all the posts mentioning Xils (6800) that ever have been made at KVR.

That constitutes 20% of all of your own posts ever, ie since 2004. However Xils only actually go back to 2009, so since then, basically every third post you've made mentions 'Xils' in it.

In comparison you've mentioned

'Waldorf' 60 times
'Camel' 90 times
'Alchemy' 400 times
'Arturia' 147' times
'Spectrasonics' and 'Omnisphere' 145 times between them
'Lennar' or 'Sylenth' about 110 times
'Diva' or 'Ace' or 'Zebra' or 'Bazille' or 'Hive' about 480 times between them all

I think if we added another ten companies and/or synths, we might get the total for all of them to match the number of times youve mentioned Xils.

Im sure you'll say this doesnt mean anything in particular, but if you think about it for a few minutes, you might begin to understand why people find the balance of your attention notable.

No...shit! :o

I know the feeling but this is in a league of it's own.
Hope you used some tools for this and didn't have to count them manually :scared:

no no - analysis should not be dismissed as being pedantic. Those numbers are stark and emphasize exactly the point you make.

:) :)

Not to be pedantic (or start another Franco-Prussian War):

chau·vin·ist
1. a person displaying aggressive or exaggerated patriotism.
2. showing or relating to excessive or prejudiced loyalty or support for a particular group or cause

(Derived from the French
1865-18701865-70; < French chauvinisme, equivalent to chauvin jingo (named after N. Chauvin, a soldier in Napoleon's army noted for loud-mouthed patriotism) + -isme -ism)

So, uh....hope the sound bank is selling well!

Edit: Oh...hello Lotuzia (from Paris). Just teasing...I won't take you seriously if you promise to not take me seriously.

Sure, this means that I've represented Xils -pro bono- on the forum for around two years. I've worked with them a lot also for presets. And will certainly continue to do so ( to make your statistics better ) But never mentioned them in this thread, except to reply to people like you or similar.

Anything else a bit less obvious you dont understand ? :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

+ please mention ALL the synths I've talked about ( there are TONS of other synths I've talked about ). Spend more time on me, you lazy. Make your job done right. THis is really less than half baked. We want the komplete list ( fm8, massive, Diversion, take the Waldorf synths iterations also (Nave, Largo) not just the company name  , the Korgs, well : Everything) and dont fake your statitics to make them say *something*

And dont forget to mention all the instruments i've never talked about also. ( This should keep you busy for a while )

Man, I wouldn't be surprised that his target here is promote other synths in every Diva thread.
Just don't waste your time. Don't feed troll on payroll.
