I guess you really obey every single law, eh?

If you want to play with words, do it alone.

When i will want to diffuse a freeware as lite version of the commercial one, i will think to you before :-)

Thanks for your kindness.

And you base that assumption on... WHAT ? As I said before: you asume a lot :?

A lot of people around here know me for a long time, they know I'm not a troll, that I'm very serious about all this, that I've been a supporter for many devs over the years and that I do buy what I need. I have given a lot to the community myself as well. I have been a betatester for Orion for several years and got a free copy because of that, but you know what: I STILL bought a license from Rich to support him. My main VSTi synths are all paid for even though I had access to many of them for free because of betatesting or review writing. So you SURE AS HELL ASUME A LOT :x

And don't give me that 'lost in translation' crap. I didn't post anything to give you the idea that I'm a troll, not interested in your stuff or someone that wants a free ride. As I said I've uninstalled your free version because I do have principals.

Did it ever during this discussion occured to you that not MY decision to NOT USE a dongle, but your decision to IMPLEMENT a dongle, is the wrong decision

Well, I'll leave it with this. You are clearly one of the few devs that does NOT deserve my support :(

it even beats most of the commercial stuff - it's very easy to use, good-sounding and light on the cpu - what more could you pissibly want? (apart from more options/features which V2&3 offer plenty of...)

Slightly better controls and graphics? But I sure would love to try out the bigger version!

Can you point me to those. I have no problem with paying for something I want/need

  'interpretation?' - shouldn't he know better than anyone else what exactly it means? He even was so kind as to explain it to you in plain words and you call it interepretation - jeez - some people... :?

voxengo voxformer - pretty cheapish.
That Wavearts channel tool - bit pricier.
Kjaerhus Golden channel - fair bit pricier, very capable though, loads of routing options etc.

what's not good about the controls? :?

Personally I absolutely love the graphics but that's a matter of taste of course... :)

Well - and I agree, this is a matter of taste - when I turn a dial on 90% of applications, pulling up results in the dial turning up; the opposite is true with Striptool. And I'm just not crazy about the aliased curves and pastel-y choice of colours, but that's far less important than the controls.

Voxformer is far from being light on the cpu - try using five or six of it in a busy mix... ;-)

GAC-1 - yes, probably very good - I love the GCO-1 (so far wrote the only review for it) but for about the same price (apart from that pricey dongle - hello Vincent :hihi:) you also get V3 :)

you can set that - it's up to you how it works... ;-)

Yep:

Wave Arts Track Plug
Waves RChannel (ouch)
Waves SSL Channel (ouch encore...but drooool...)
CamelPhat 3 (not quite the same, but could be)
UAD-1 and Powercore cards
Focusrite Liquid Track

Uhmm...can't think of anything else right now...the Wave Arts one is quite nice for the price.
