one thing I immediately tried, but couldn't, is to 'extend' a cable routing..
this is how it works on Nord Modular, very convenient..

say you drag a cable from the LFO to the filter cut-off mod In,
it would be very usefull if you could drag a cable from that position (the filter cut-off mod In) to an other mod input..
less cable spaghetti..
Yeah, hmmm... at least you can shift-drag a copy of the cable to the next thing.

Might be a good idea though... just a bit more effort to save that with the preset.

Aww, c'mon, I didn't mean it. Don't hate me now.

Well, unfortunately my 101 broke quite shortly after I bought it from England (damn high shipping costs from that island).

I asked for someone to fix the electric circuit on several forums, but didn't find anyone. From time to time I browse Ebay for a broken one so that maybe once I can make one working out of two broken ones.

Bazille could spare me that effort and money though once I manage to get the same C64-turned-fat sound out of it.

(BTW, am I the only one who recognizes the NI Pro-53 init patchs "Super Synth Lead" as being borrowed from C64's "Roland's Rat Race"?)
We're all mad in here...

This sounds terrific, Urs. Why am I not surprised?

I think Bazille is aptly named. So far I've had a ton of fun just making bazille in the analyzer. Here are a few:

Urs wrote:ARRRGH. Why? Why with the power of the Death Star does everyone need to play with super alpha software before it matures?!?

Here are some cleverly obscured links:

Mac: http://www.u-he.com/Bazille01Mac.component.zip (AU only, DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY ON POWERPC)

Win: http://www.u-he.com/Bazille01Win.zip (put Bazille.dll and Bazille.data in Vstplugins)

- do not post lengthy bug reports, the beta team does a great job
- I do not want to hear about crashes, seriously
- no, it doesn't have a file browser and it might crash when using a host environment
- yes, patches may sound different in the final version
- no, you shouldn't sell yor CZ-101 just yet
- I will not answer questions related to usage aka How Does One Do This Or That...
- and yes, it'll expire at some point...

:hihi:

Enjoy!

I like the raw untamed sort of sounds bazille can make. I've made a couple patches where lovely unexpected interactions happen in pleasing ways. This is gonna turn out to be one of my favorite synths!
