r317 is not yet the fix. (i can already tell you that)

I'll try and come up with something.
Nice that you like them. :) Like i said the patches are not "optimized". L'll also add some of the new Modwheel/Aftertouch modules soon. BTW the last patch in the bank ("PWM Srings...") is not even finished which i just recognized.

I'll search for more bugs but at the moment there is no obvious one. If there is one i'll find it when i do some more patches.

That could maybe take some days since i was asked to do around 32 patches for a new softsynth but who knows. Another one besides the ongoing beta test/sound programming for PPG Wave 3.V. The public beta test for Synthmaster 2.5 will start soon too. I see lot's of work coming. :)

Sorry... I'll try make less sense in my posts, starting with the next one :P

Zephod did reply with some good points though, most notably that he doesn't want to flood the market with a synth that he doesn't have 100 % confidence in yet. Makes perfect sense, but I'm sure he'll ramp it up a bit as stability becomes rock solid (and he has adds some more "expected" features / modules).

it doesn't help that I am trying to make a "forgiving" modular synth... the code is 90% dealing with edge cases. building a fixedfunction synth would have been so much easier ;)

at the rate it is going i expect to release a new stable version this week, but i must also warn that i have just been hired by a new client... my free time will be in short supply. and... i've had a traffic accident last friday (stopped for red light on motorbike, got hit in the back by the car behind the car behind me.. dominoes) so ive got stupid insurance claims to take care of in the little time i have. at least i got away alive with only 1 small bruise.

currently i am investigating 1 rare gui glitch and the reason why the blok-editor prevents alt-tab from functioning correctly with ableton. after that is fixed i can move on trying to get it to run on mac and add new features.

Wow, lucky escape  It could have been a lot worse.

New beta uploaded!

SVN318 - fixes some graphical glitches (see changelog) and some potential crash hazards! (unreported, but better safe than sorry)

Get it while it's hot - www.blokmodular.com

Whoops.. a bit too fast.. SVN319! Please ignore SVN318.. it prevents crashes by preventing displaying anything at all ;-)

I guess it is beta with a reason :-D

Like i already mentioned i started to beta test a new synth (name still a secret !!) yesterday and a new beta version for PPG Wave 3.V is out too so less time for BLOK now...
I'll check the new beta as soon as possible.

Erm, I'm guessing you have to be registered [owner] to partake in the betas now?

--EDIT-- No no, never mind, found it ;)

Watch out though.. the latest beta has a reported crash during gui close/open..

I am still in the process of transitioning to the new GUI library.

(it is getting very slick/responsive, but just ripping the guts out of a program leaves its marks...)

Post

Hopefully this crash will be fixed by tonight... I really want to get the new GUI lib in to mainstream, it makes working with Blok really a lot nicer!

Post

r320 uploaded... -should- take care of the crash... it might not. Please let me know if anything strange happens!

Post

beta r322 released - fixes sonar crash on gui-close :-) (and probably some other hosts as well)

no idea... not as far as I am aware of? (unless those guys have started following the buzz progress again for new inspiration... was kindof hilarious to see their domain name pop up in the traffic logs every day when they were developing the first version of reason)
