It would appear we are not on the same page , my post wasn't about effecting audio tracks it was about effecting soft-synths.Sampleconstruct wrote:Just use the Plug-In from the Midi controlled AU effects, it's a seperate folder in Logic for all Midi controllable Plugs. Then use sidechain input to route Audio into stutter edit.CANE CREEK wrote:been playing around with the Demo and it sounds great.
im using Mac/logic/AU
Can i only effect Audio tracks ? as obviously you don't get midi/instrument tracks in the side chain drop down menu.
i am aware that you can use it on softsynths by using it as a direct insert however that way you can't control it via midi.
if this is the case then the manual is very confusing as it semi-tricks you into thinking you can use this on Audio and softsynths, when in reality you can only using it on audio tracks if you want to control it via midi.
there is no soft-synths in the side chain menu , it's looks as it you have to send the soft-synth to a Bus then choose that Bus from the stutter side chain menu in order to effect it , I just thought there might of been a easier way of doing this.
