Understand.

Next: The patch PumpingSyncBassStereoPingPingEchoThang is using
VCA1:Pan as Target of Matrix-2.

But when I hit the button, it's not in the list?

Bug? Or is there a trick? 8)

It'll never appear as an option in the dropdown because it's not officially supposed to be there, as discussed.

But it does appear on the GUI if it's assigned in the patch. It appears as "VCA1:Pan" as the "Matrix 2 Target" and if you open the patch in a text editor (notepad) you'll find "MMT2=VCA1:Pan". You can only assign this destination by manually editing the patch. Hakey described this a few posts back in this thread.

BTW, that patch and Nerve Runners were mine; Nerve Runners ended up sounding wrong in later versions of Tyrell because of an osc tuning change. Here's an updated version: Nerve Runners Fixed.

Tyrell N6 is an awesome gift to the community. Personally I'd love it to have the same shape distribution in both oscillators, and include the Pan function as a visible mod destination... ;)

Much better! Already wondered why many of the contest's patches sound bad.

Which is the affected parameter? I don't see any difference in the gui between both versions of the patch.

^ not sure about the Nerve Runners patch... but if past patches sound off by pitch try adjusting the master detune on top of the GUI.

The TuneModDepths were different in the original version. Changing TM1 from
0.20 to 0.00 and TM2 from 0.10 to 0.06, made the new patch sound about the same as the original. I seem to remember it was mainly TM2, but I'm not sure.
