I think you're wrong about DP's sound and presets. For a rompler with a relatively small library of samples it's pretty good sound quality and there are some cracking presets in there that just require a bit of tweaking to bring them to life.redislandforever wrote:Big difference between hardware and software... Even for one euro (or dollar), I don't buy it.
Unless someone has the hearing of a bat or a 14 year old in a shopping mall they'd never spot the difference between DP and another comparable priced rompler in a song. Does anyone still limit themselves to the FX in a synth these days? I think not, so the sound we hear in many contemporary productions has been layered and effected anyway.
