Ilok is fixed or not? My sympathies to the supporters if its still broken or restrictive.
All the best...

(*) Basically here its like the equivalent of a cooking forum where every thread eventually gets hijacked by a couple of dicks yelling "I dont eat dairy products. Dont eat dairy products. Cheese is the devil." Its f**king tiresome.
I think the DICKS are the people that moan about the people moaning.
sorry Meffy...I just want to remind people of the thread I started a few years ago in site stuff about this very thing...as I recall my question was "are there more people complaining about dongles than those who have actually had issues?" or something similar...I made it clear in that thread I was not talking about whether people liked dongles or not...the thread turned into what every dongle thread does, with all the cliches from both sides...but my question was never directly answered.koolkeys wrote:So what are you when you moan about the people moaning about the people moaning?faun2500 wrote:whyterabbyt wrote:redacted for WRmaxxxter wrote:Calling software developers money-hungry-rich-fat people is beyond ridiculous, I'm sure many will agree on this.dalor wrote:maxxxter: You are a money-hungry-rich-fat-people supporter. Sorry, but system platforms like iOS don't need dongles do they? Or is it already built in, and just WORKS CORRECTLY? Saying I cannot support dongles cannot be misconstrued as supporting software piracy, because your draconian mindset cannot fathom other forms of DRM.maxxxter wrote:Since iLok2, WiBu dongle and the current incarnation of eLicencer are still the only three uncracked forms of software protection, saying what you said there - and this applies to all dongle haters - is almost the same as saying you support piracy.camsr wrote:Hi guys, I just wanna chime in and say FOOOOOOOK ILOK, I never used your stupid dongle.
BELIEVE IN SOFTWARE FREEDOM
You see, the necessity of using dongles is not some developer conspiracy against the paying customers; it is their desperate attempt to protect their efforts and remain in business.
Get rid of dongles and you'll destroy a significant chunk of the industry, which means less cool tools for all of us.
Dongles are not our problem; crime is.
I'm still having major problems. But, according to PACE, nothing to see here.dalor wrote:Does anyone know if all issues have been finally resolved? Is it safe to sync now?
But despite the clamor on the web, a representative from PACE confirmed for us that only a small number of users were affected:
"All of our support tickets to PACE on this issue totaled less than 75 and some of those were duplicates," he said. "We strive to answer all support tickets as quickly as possible."
You're comparing iOS to iLok or your OS? If iOS was your desktop software, I could promise you would go bezerk how insanely closed it is and things you are not allowed to customise or do.camsr wrote:Sorry, but system platforms like iOS don't need dongles do they? TheoM wrote:Not for me.. Two perfectly working ilok keys have been corrupted.. All I did was download a new license I bought. That worked and i lost almost eveything else. Now that doesnt work but sonnox and a few others are working, I've lost everything else.. Not one of my projects will open without hitting pace auth screens and then crashing the host. I can't work on a single current song right now cause they all use tons of ilok plugs,faun2500 wrote:Yes of course sorry. My fault!![]()

I've been hit really hard. 79 ilok plugins has been turned into 34 or less working at present, for two days only three worked! Every single suggestion posted has been tried and followed, but all I get are error messages, unknown or server, also tried installing and syncing on another machine and even connecting via 4g tether in case my hardware router was causing an issue. My iloks have been just about bricked.. They won't answer my emails.
