Sorry, we're in emergency mode. I've stopped reading emails as we need to release Diva, Zebra and Satin next week, latest in about two weeks. We've lost so much time on those 3 stupid bugs...EvilDragon wrote:Thanks a million

New version:
Zebra rev 2079 Win
Zebra rev 2079 Mac
Fixes timing bug, but no new UI yet. Distortion algorithm "matured". AAX included this time.
Note: GUI work, ZebraHZ will be last minute. Can't promise ZHZ before x-mas

It all depends - if we get the current batch (Diva/Satin/Zebra) out quickly then there might be enought time for creating a beta of ZebraHZ with AAX and Distortion before x-mas. After that I'm out of town for a few weeks, which will make things slightly more difficult (but not impossible).ETMuz wrote:Thank you for your AAX efforts. I'll be excited to finally have TDZ in my PTbtw when do you think that might be urs?
However, we're currently stunned by a really hard to find bug in Satin that only seems to affect a few users - we know about 4, yet it could happen to anyone. We can at this point only debug it by injecting tests into the code and sending beta versions to those people. This is a slow and tedious process. With such a bug that may also affect other plug-ins we can not release anything until it's found. I remember a few years back where it took me six months to find one. I hope it's faster this time

I tried to install the new beta parallel to my Zebra 2.6 - but that does not seem to work, right?
When I open Zebra, only the 2.6 shows up unless I rename the Zebra.dll.
So there is no way to test the beta without deactivating the standard install?

I think you'll be just fine by renaming the DLL. I do that in Reaper: install the beta in a separate "u-he beta" folder and rename DLLs after installing. Works.

Yes, I do that as a workaround for now, hopefully the Dark Horse skin will also updated soon.

when you guys are on win, you can unpack the setup with something like uni extract. the dlls are then free to copy and then find that data folder(explain the step guide below)EvilDragon wrote:I think you'll be just fine by renaming the DLL. i will explain step by step
1) get setup and unpack with uni extract (Inno Installer)
2) search for the dll copy them into your vst folder *
3) search the data folder - its most of the times in {code_GetDataPath} folder - rename to Zebra.data and copy to the dll. *
4) you can use only 64bit or 32bit with that way - just replace the bit versions, by renaming.
(* : in the unpacked setup folder)
this way inferferes in no way with the last last final version.
general way for dealing with final and beta versions.
hope this helps.
thanks for the new beta(s)
