I take it the 'wavetables' are single cycle waveforms rather than wavetables, can anyone confirm? Since the upper and lower 'tables' morph into each other I guess the result would amount to a wavetable, albeit limited to two waves (plus the interpolated points in between). But FAW's documentation refers to the waveforms selectable to the upper and lower slots themselves as wavetables, which doesn't appear to be the case.

As you guessed, the upper and lower "tables" are selectable from single-cycle waveforms (that still is "wavetable" though, "wavetable" does not imply "waveforms stored in just one file").plugin'd out wrote:I take it the 'wavetables' are single cycle waveforms rather than wavetables, can anyone confirm? They have a standalone app (Circle Wavetable Generator) you can download and use to convert wavs to their format (.wdf).GeorgeZ wrote:... also, are you limited to the OSC shapes that are already there, and what's the C/P? C/R?

To me, circle is a mini serum. I don't use it all the time, but Sometimes i need it.

I know softube modular very well , try just the doepfer module with simple waveform , you will ear a difference , if you can buy the intellijel (kill your cpu) do it ! Intellijel modules are awesome

Kill's cpu's kills 'em! But it just sound's so damn lovely, currently have 2 Modulars running in Live with the intellijel modules and if I unfreeze the Softube Modular tracks with all the other plugins running my cpu goes over 100%.hivkorn wrote:

Intel needs to make some faster cpu's asap cause I was looking to upgrade but it's basically throwing money away... Still maybe I should just to run a few more Modulars

I use to do the same
Then i save the patch and put the midi on a midi track with no output because if I want to use 15 instance of modular my Imac will die

Thanks for that. Hmmmm, C/R. I suppose you can do offline activation and then save the key... I hate C/R so so very muchpottering wrote:They have a standalone app (Circle Wavetable Generator) you can download and use to convert wavs to their format (.wdf).GeorgeZ wrote:... also, are you limited to the OSC shapes that are already there, and what's the C/P?
