If you're going to mock current genres of popular music, at least know what current genres are.layzer wrote:looks like a winner for those that like that cartoon gui and dubstep

To be honest version one had better presets, the new ones seem more tailored to current edm genres.
But the synth is capable of so much more.
The GUI is excellent, its the selling point because ease of use.

Circle 2 is a synth, not a dubstep preset machine. The demos are there to show you some of the possibilities, but, like most synthesizers, it is capable of making many different sounds that can be used in pretty much any style that calls for a synth. Actually, if you go to the tutorials page, you'll see examples of many different types of sounds that you can create with it.layzer wrote:oh, pardon me all knowing genre god... the demos sounded like dubstep to me, current or nottehlord wrote:If you're going to mock current genres of popular music, at least know what current genres are.layzer wrote:looks like a winner for those that like that cartoon gui and dubstep

Bizarre Mac system requirements: "OSX, Universal, OS X 10.7 (Panther) or higher"
Panther was 10.3 (10.7 is Lion) and even if that was a typo, it's flagged as a "Universal" app (meaning both Intel and PPC code) but from 10.7 onwards OSX was Intel-only (no PPC code)
I assume they mean 10.7 or later...
