Yes when I sync stuff it is often in a WT synth like Massive or Rapid and you don't even need another oscillator these days. I don't really synthesize pads, sometimes can, bit of saw tooth/supersaw and even then it is not using multiple oscillators.Phil Sonic Academy wrote:Ana 2 oscs 1-3 have self sync... I.e you just turn the sync knob and it's like tuning the synced osc up.
You can Fm osc 1 using osc 2 or 3, osc 2 using osc 3 or the sub, osc 3 just the sub.
1-3 all have pulse width too and a sub with pulse, triangle and sine shapes
Osc 1-3 are all capable of 3D wavetables
When you combine all that you can do some super crazy stuff.
Mainly and I do try and make most of my own sounds and when I don't I customize a preset heavily for the feel I am after.
Because I make music, it is less so an excercise in making the most spectrally and dimensionally thickest sounding *most unusable synth preset in the history of synthesis.

Sorry I mean "our hyper mega super 4d multi segment waveforming superbrain, made within pure ultra resonating Kryptonite."kokotte wrote:ok, clear response, not a marketing sentence !Phil Sonic Academy wrote:2d wavetable is just a regular single cycle wave
3D wavetable is like Serum, massive, Ppg wave etc.
That better!

Yeah I'm not really sure what to say other than it's nearly done.. I know that isn't super useful but I don't want to give another 100% firm date until we're totally sure all the bugs are squished.ere2learn wrote:Dodging the question quite well Phil SA
Everything is in, it's been feature locked for a while. Just stupid stuff like Arp not always triggering when it's suppose to or txt not displaying pixel accurate on some effect. Etc. Just small annoying wee bugs. There's a list of like 20 small issues.
I have been using it as my main synth for ages and it's totally stable on my system and no stability issues from our small test group.
We are about to expand to our bigger test group to get more systems tested but we don't expect too many issues.
We have about 350 factory presets with another 150 or so to come in from designers.

Oh yes.. I forgot about that and I do it with regularity.. I suppose I see it as 1 sound generated as a by product of the interaction. But you are quite right.recursive one wrote:For example, syncing osc 2 to osc 1 and FMing 2 from 1 at the same time, osc 2 being two octaves lower than osc 1Synthman2000 wrote:One day I will use 2 oscillators, how and what for I don't know.![]()
Can ANA 2 do that?

Must be getting close now.
Will it be cheaper to buy ANA2 as my first ANA or buy ANA(1) then upgrade or will it be esentially the same ?

Yeah it's a massive pain... I really wanted it out by now but there where more bugs than we had realised.db3 wrote:How about very nearly done?Phil Sonic Academy wrote:I'm not really sure what to say other than it's nearly done...
I'm kind of a broad strokes guy and to me it was pretty much done but I passed it on to the nit pickers and they found lots of small thing that needed sorted.
We are making good progress and I'm really happy with how it sounds and feels to use. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.
