Actually they do that with every new release - Melodyne's only included in the latest version.aMUSEd wrote:Also seems a bit odd that several things that are in T7, eg Melodyne, suddenly are only in Waveform.

I hadn't noticed that, bit misleading though. It sounds like they are saying you can only buy it with a copy of Melodyne Essential if you are buying the current version, that sounds OK, but Melodyne ARA support is available going back to version 6 (or was it 5?) and it should state that too as many people will already have Melodyne and would be able to use it in earlier versions.AegisPrime wrote:Actually they do that with every new release - Melodyne's only included in the latest version.aMUSEd wrote:Also seems a bit odd that several things that are in T7, eg Melodyne, suddenly are only in Waveform.

Maybe, but considering you can't buy the previous versions any more, it's a bit of a moot point.aMUSEd wrote:I hadn't noticed that, bit misleading though. How about instead of patronising and taking the piss out of very longterm users concerns you try listening to them?

I have to say it now feels like the well rounded DAW I always knew it could be (after 15+ years)
.
Excellent work.
Now stop doing major updates and get polishing.

Customer says they're scared of a mixer and what TSC ended up doing in response was adding a mixer. I'm still a bit sketchy on what a piss-take is* but I can't help but feel that's a good one.aMUSEd wrote:How about instead of patronising and taking the piss out of very longterm users concerns you try listening to them?
* Every time I hear that expression I imagine it has something to do with how the Greeks discovered diabetics have excessive amounts of sugar in their urine.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

I have not seen ARA mentioned with Waveform.aMUSEd wrote:I hadn't noticed that, bit misleading though. I hope that they did not drop his feature.
I have not found a feature list for Waveform.

ARA support is still in there - Waveform seems to be T7 with a simple mixer, some MIDI improvements and a couple of extra plugins (one new, one old).Kalamata Kid wrote:I have not seen ARA mentioned with Waveform.
