Again, another shameless plug disguised in a zero-value defensive argument. Notice how you steered the conversation and still did not answer my question about your goal for posting "news" on your algo, if you were not looking and not wanting any feedback...I wonder who is trying to be a politician here...

Why do I need a higher goal for demonstrating something? The demos are there and that's it, no hidden agenda. If you want to discuss them further, go in that other thread. (I'd rather you didn't)

Kingston I will say this once again.
We (the fan boys) have high expectation from AT2 not only because Squids says so but because:

- AT1 is great
- AT1 was the first of it's kind and state of the art when it came out (not really fare to compare to GR1 or GTR that came out later on)
- TRacks, another great plug, is proof that this company can do a good job of emulating tube circuits.
- IK is pretty big on the plug scene and they are working on this thing for a long time, they have to come up with the next WOW if they want to charge top dollars and keep their reputation.

So we have high hopes.
Will it meet our expectation? - I hope so
Seems like nobody likes their marketing tactics and the super long wait but that doesn't make me mad enough to start saying negative things about a plug that I never even heard or start mocking other "fan boys" that are not as mad as you.

There was steinberg warp, revalver and simulanalog pretty much before AT1. Two of those sound better than AT1 to me. so no, IK wasn't there first.

T-racks is another issue. I heavily disagree that it does a good job emulating tubes. It's a grainy, dated and oldschool digital sound. It was only 'OK' even when it first came out.

Pretty much everything from IK has come out surrounded by massive marketing hype, but to me it's like mackie or behringer: they make decent bread and butter copies that are good for their price.

So excuse me for having having near opposite opinions around here.

LOL...damn I miss these folks. I bought the DVDs, but they left me wanting for more. The bonuses on these discs are not really that good.

Btw Squids, I am patiently waiting for these samples you're talking about...I hope they are at least coming this week?
