I know; I'm gutted, I was absolutely convinced it'd make Q2, but unfortunately it just isn't quite ready to fly the nest.

I'd settle for a couple more hours in the day!

Sorry, a "non-working hour"? I mean, I've heard of such things, but I assumed they were just legends?!

They are... that's why if you're going to add new hours, they darn-well better be the right sortcolin@loomer wrote:Sorry, a "non-working hour"? I mean, I've heard of such things, but I assumed they were just legends?!

I'm about to start a few months of really shitty demanding work and hoping this can be a present I buy myself to justify the 'pain' of a crap job. Basically asking you, through this product, to save my life.
Suit yourself, no pressure.

Other than some (significant) visuals improvements - the built-in sequencer modules and arpeggiators now have a lovely clean modern style which fits better with the other components - I've been mainly tidying some issues with how events work. There were a few 'edge cases' in which quirks during initialisation of a patch could have unexpected behaviour; similar I believe to how the so-called 'global reset' events cause havok in Reaktor. Anyway, I have a new, streamlined event system, which not only is easier to document and learn, eradicates any such event initialisation issues, and ultimately offers significant processing savings because events can be better routed as and when needed.

Wow I started the longest KVR thread ever!
Colin I was wondering if you might like to give an updated estimate of when this product might be released...are you still thinking this year or 2016?

Still aiming for soon, and I can't see it slipping into 2016: there simply isn't much left to do, short of any unforeseen biggies. It's frustrating that a few unexpected issues arose over the past few weeks, including some nasty subtle issues with the event system which ended up taking over a week to fix due to the events mechanism needing some crucial surgeries. And on one hand, whilst it's annoying spending time fixing code that I thought was solid, I can also appreciate that the changes were really needed, and it was better to fix them before rather than after beta!
